{"id":2674,"date":"2026-04-22T11:18:13","date_gmt":"2026-04-22T09:18:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bureausla.nl\/?post_type=project&#038;p=2674"},"modified":"2026-05-15T10:47:21","modified_gmt":"2026-05-15T08:47:21","slug":"a-case-for-reflection","status":"publish","type":"project","link":"https:\/\/bureausla.nl\/nl\/projects\/a-case-for-reflection\/","title":{"rendered":"A Case for Reflection"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>A Case for Reflection<\/em> is een lichtinstallatie, opgebouwd uit meer dan 2.500 afgekeurde aluminium kaarthouders van het Nederlandse merk <a href=\"http:\/\/www.secrid.com\">Se<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.secrid.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">c<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.secrid.com\">rid<\/a>.\u00a0Deze cases zijn precisie-objecten. In het productieproces kan de kleinste afwijking leiden tot uitval: een minieme deuk, een kleurverschil, een krasje dat je bijna niet ziet. Niet kapot, alleen imperfect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In dit werk wordt de afwijking lichtgevend. De afgekeurde cases zijn opnieuw samengesteld tot een grote, zwevende lichtsculptuur, die het omgevingslicht vangt en verspreidt.\u00a0Samen vormen ze een oppervlak dat reflecteert en breekt. Industri\u00eble imperfectie verandert zo in visuele po\u00ebzie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Elke case speelt daarin een dubbele rol: het blijft een fysieke case, maar het wordt ook een argument: <em>A Case for Reflection<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De installatie laat zien hoe circulariteit verder kan gaan dan functie. Het is niet alleen hergebruik, maar herwaardering: betekenis terugvinden in wat een systeem doorgaans wegfiltert.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Het spiegelende oppervlak nodigt bezoekers uit om niet alleen naar het licht te kijken, maar ook naar zichzelf, en naar de systemen die tegelijk schoonheid en overschot produceren. A Case for Reflection is daarmee zowel object als statement: een verlicht pleidooi dat ontwerp, reflectie en verantwoordelijkheid samen kunnen bestaan.
