18th of December 2019 – Last Thursday Peter van Assche, professor in Architecture and Circulair thinking at the Amsterdam Academy of Architecture, delivered his inaugural lecture in a sold-out Pakhuis de Zwijger. During the inspiring lecture, he indicated that the research group wants to work towards the Arcadian Anthropocene. Or as Peter van Assche said: “That means that the research group wants to formulate answers to social questions by using circular thinking in this world’s most beautiful profession, namely designing our space: architecture”.
